Mercedes-Benz C Class (W205) E Class (W213) S Class (W222) GLE (W167) 2016-2023 44V Lithium Battery Repair File Service

Description

In order to use the service, you need to provide us the original file of your battery BMS or the exact part number of the battery and your VIN.

File can be read and written with one of the following:
VVDI Prog
MultiProg
CG Pro
Orange 5
Any EEPROM reader supporting 95M01

After our file is written, remember to charge your battery to max before reinstalling the BMS back into the battery or it will lock again!
To test if your BMS has not been locked, you need to have a car or a platform to make sure the battery can be activated by the DCDC - a broken DCDC won't be able to turn on the battery which may lead you to believe the battery is the only issue. If you just check with a multimeter the outer terminals of the battery controlled by the BMS to see if the voltage matches with the battery internal terminals when the battery is not active, voltage will always be 0! If active, it will however click once and then show voltage regularly whether in or out of the car.
We will refund you if service failed or prepare a new file.

Service provided in few minutes during workhours.

NOTE: W206/W223 and some W167 BMS, although they look the same, don't have the 95M01 EEPROM. You need to provide CPU readout on those, using the specific service for that BMS type. W222 may use 126V battery where BMS is entirely different. There is a service for that, too.

Supported part numbers:
A7899019600
