Porsche 911 (991) Boxster/Cayman 718 (981/982/987) 2009-2025 PDK Transmission Control Unit Gear Position Sensor/Speed Sensor Repair kit.

This repair kit can be used when the TCU has one of the following sensor shift rod
implausible signal fault codes:

P0730: Tranmission Monitoring half gear 1-2
P0780: gear skipping
P1706 Sensor Power Supply Voltage (5V) too low
P1730 Shifting abnormal (2)
P1731 Shifting abnormal (4)
P1732 Shifting abnormal (5)
P1733 Shifting abnormal (1)
P1735 Shifting abnormal (6)
P1736 Shifting abnormal (7)
P1737 Shifting abnormal (3)
P1738 Shifting abnormal (R)
P1764 Gearshift lock
P1765 Gearshift lock
P1774 Gear valve 2 stuck
P17A00 Gear valve 1 stuck in pressurized position
P17A9 Pressure regulator 2 electrical fault
P17AE pressure regulator 6 electrical fault

In this condition gearbox usually cannot shift gear. Replacing with the kit's gear position sensor and speed sensor will solve the issue as long as there are no other faults with the car. In some cases also this temperature sensor will break. There will be a DTC about it if that is the case. This sensor is not included in the kit, so pay attention!
